Barbaren (Barbarians) (2020)

“Everything I know about fighting, I know from you. What do we fight for? I often asked you that. Some fight for what used to be, others for that which is to come-We fight for love, we fight for honor, we fight for glory, we fight for freedom. Some fight for their children, some fight for their gods, the crucial point is we can only win when we are in complete control of our feelings, and have a crystal clear strategy. That you must maintain order in your ranks and destroy theirs. But whatever we are fighting for we pay the price in blood. We all must die, the guilty and the innocent. And you’ll still need help from those above when it goes wrong.

Your impregnable armor became your biggest burden. But the most important thing is recognize your enemy’s greatest weaknesses, and bring all that you have to that exact spot. And your biggest weakness was your trust in me. I ask myself what were you fighting for? And was it worth it? You never understood that some want to love differently than you. To worship and feel differently than you do.”
